  • Turn off water

You need to pull the stem out as it will be exposing the O ring. It will be very thin and the seat washer will be very much thick. If you find that instead of faucet, handles are leaky then you should consider replacing this O ring. Keep the old one and take it to the hardware store so that you can find the new one easily. Then go for removing the seat washer. Replace the seat washer with a new one. Seat washers are different in size and hence you will have to take the old one to the hardware store of home improvement store to find the new one which is of exact match. The new one must be coated with the plumbers grease before you go for installing it. After that, assemble each of the handle again. This will fix your leaky faucet.
