Application of sandpaper on the textured walls:

Make the use of sandpaper in the beginning for sanding up the area on the walls where the texture is deep into the walls. Once you sand the areas particularly, you’ll need a sponge. Make the use of dampen washcloth or sponge for wipe off any extra dust particles that are observe on the surface.
