Sink drains are an integral part of any kitchen. Skin drains have two parts, the skin basket and drain pipes. These two distinct parts are connected together, but if some problems occur with your skin drain and you want to fix it, you will have to address both these parts separately.
Here are some tips for repairing kitchen skin drain. First, you must check under the sink to see whether there is any dripping or running water or not. If there is dripping water, it will be in the place where the sink meets the sink basket. Then a pipe wrench has to be used to remove the nut that holds the sink basket. Then the pipe nut will have to be unscrewed. Pull out the sink basket from the sink and then throw away the washer. Put a new washer in place of the discarded one. Reattach all the parts that you removed earlier. You can also fix the broken pipes and drain pipe joints on your own.
